The black people needs to use their energy to promote love among themselves, a reaction to black killing in the US by Patricia Dare

Against this back-drop, it's so sad when I listen to us speaking against the whites in the midst of the current imbroglio ensuing between the some white police officers and black citizens - it's quite an unfortunate thing though that the actions of some white police officers will be used to indict the entire police Dept.; whereas majority of the officers works very hard, putting their lives on the line to keep us and our children safe. However, in my own opinion, we have very wonderful white/black police officers and very bad officers in both races, judging from my experience as a Nigerian and as an American that has been privileged to live and work with black people at both ends. If the black Americans have ever tried living in the African continent, they will forever be grateful to God or just pray against the situation.

Africa, where people pray to survive even in the presence of their own blood, within a blessed and God given huge and vast resources...Infact, if black African police are to be in the US, they would have killed more citizens than we have presently. Because a lot of gang cases and criminals will never go to court. The criminals will either die in police custody or serve as a replacement for the release of political thugs. If black people all over the world can take half of the zeal and energy used in criticizing the whites, to loving and caring for each other; and investing in our neighborhood in the case of black Americans; building and investing in our countries in the case of black African; our world and image would not have suffered so much destruction and embarrassment. All the protests and matches against police brutality needs to go beyond that. The matches needs to go to our neighborhood and communities where we are killing each other on a daily basis. I think there is a strong correlations between the implosion of moral/ethical values and responsibilities; total disregard for the rule of law/authorities, and higher crime rates. We cannot deny the fact that blacks are more likely to have a run with the law than the other races. I am not using this to justify the killing of unarmed citizens by the police, it is very important that blacks address this issue beyond blaming the police every time someone is killed. We need to work on ourselves, our children, our neighborhood and communities.
